Fitting the DeadCat to the Rode VideoMic Pro R
Note : This guide is for the Rode VideoMic Pro R and the Rode DeadCat VideoMic Pro R only.
To fit the Deadcat to the VideoMic Pro :
1. Undo the velcro at the opening of the deadcat.
2. You will see a V section of stretch material at the opening, this goes to the bottom of the microphone.
3. Pull the deadcat over the foam windsock and slide the stretchy V section under the mic BETWEEN
the foam and the plastic mount.
4. Continue to pull the deadcat over the mic, note that the stretchy V section continues to slide
between the foam and the plastic mount.
5. When fully pulled on the velcro latch will join up at the back on the mic, a perfect fit.
